Calculate your healthy weight range based on height, gender, and body frame size using multiple established formulas.
Your current BMI based on your ideal weight range:
Ideal weight is a range that is considered healthy for your height and body frame. It's not a single number but a range that accounts for individual differences in body composition.
Body frame size is determined by measuring wrist circumference relative to height. Small frame: wrist less than 15.9cm (men) or 14cm (women). Medium: 15.9-17.8cm (men) or 14-15.9cm (women). Large: over 17.8cm (men) or 15.9cm (women).
This calculator uses four formulas: Devine (most common), Robinson (similar to Devine), Miller (slightly different calculation), and Hamwi (based on 106 pounds for first 5 feet).
Ideal weight calculations don't account for muscle mass, bone density, or body fat distribution. They provide a general guideline but individual factors should be considered for personalized health goals.
